So I got this in a size 9 when I'm probably a size 5 at largest. It was a mixture of size availability and my own paranoia at getting a size too tiny. I agree with the other two that they do open up quite a bit at the legs, not to mention mine are too big for me, so whenever I bend over I have to be conscious about not flashing my butt cheeks at anyone. BUT despite all of this they are super comfortable! I'm definitely still going to be wearing them and possibly get the tailored? For anyone wondering, the distressing is a lot longer than average. It's almost like short, uneven, fringe.
I got this in black in size 5 mainly because they had no more 3's. I was hoping that 5 wouldn't be much of a difference (I'm 5'.05"). Overall, the waist was still wearable, but the leg opening is VERY big. I'm not sure if it would've looked better if my thighs filled them up or not, but they, personally, seem unflattering. Mainly because the sides tend to flare out and it looks more like a mini skirt or something. If it werent for my sewing skills to tailor it a bit, I would've returned this. So i would advise getting your normal size. Overall quality is alright for its price. :]
