Rust is such a chic color for the season and this cute new wrap top from Cupcakes and Cashmere is a beautiful wardrobe staple for day or night. It's effortless yet flirty and fun. I love it tucked into high waisted jeans and a loafers or mules or over a knit pencil skirt with tall booties for a more dressed up look. Though it gets a bad reputation for being boring, the modest turtleneck is actually probably the easiest way to make a simple outfit look more creative. Try a dress over it and add a fun pair of earrings or big necklace or give your basic jeans and tee combination a seasonal update with a tight, tucked-in turtleneck shirt, a plaid blazer, classic denim pants, and some booties. Pearl embellishments have taken on a distinctly modern vibe and this cute staple sweater is the perfect way to rock them in a new way. Wear this pretty piece dress up or down while remaining super comfortable and cozy when the weather is chilly. Camel is an ultra hot color this year and the PJ style of this blouse is a modern take on a classic staple. Full tuck into trousers, half tuck into jeans or tie the ends in a knot and wear with high waisted pants or skirt or over a dress.

So this month's box is all about comfort and some fun things to try! You'll LOVE the Elle Jumpsuit, it's so your style! Add a pair of heels and the super chic Chaser Fleece Moto Jacket (I sized up since it runs small) to complete the look. I know you are always looking for something different, so I included the Michael Stars Maxi Dress. This may just look like a maxi, but if you wear the Surplice Long Sleeve Top or the V-neck Sweater, it takes it to the next level. This look is super versatile and can be worn during the day-to-night with either sneakers or booties! Since it's pretty cold in Connecticut, I've included some go-to sweaters. The Contrast Hem Sweater and the Front Knot Sweater are not only SO cozy, but they are also super cute and flattering- it's hard to find both. These will look great with the high-quality DL1961 Vintage Straight Jeans. DL1961 is a premium brand that makes timeless and quality jeans. These will be a staple in your wardrobe forever! For an elevated outfit that is a bit dressier, pair the Front Tie Culottes with the Lurex Cropped Top. Finish off these looks with the gorgeous Gorjana Earrings for the perfect detail!

I really love that tops are so versatile. I've included a pair of denim jeans in black and a pair of paper bag shorts for you to try on all the tops with! Try the Jack by BB Dakota Hurst Side Slit Relaxed top with the pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers for a casual going out look. For something more polished, wear it with the Lena One Shoulder Ruffle Stripe Top or the BB Dakota Halter Neck Top and a pair of heels and a patent clutch for a date night look. For a work-friendly look, wear the jeans with our JOA Tweed Top. If your office doesn't allow jeans, you can always wear it with your favorite pair of work pants. Whether you're going for a more dressed up or a casual look, paper bag shorts can be comfortable and easily styled. For a more casual look, try it with our Moon River V-Neck Knit top. I love layering blouses and cotton tops under jackets and cardigans. This is an easy way to incorporate some pieces now and transition them into your wardrobe for any season. The Stateside Short Sleeve Front Twist Tee is a perfect layering piece to layer under the Jared Jacket. I have included the jeans just so you can try this on as a whole outfit. These are the perfect jeans to pair with any sweater or blouse year round.

I see you kept some amazing pieces from your last box. I'm so glad the pants fit you perfectly! Thank you for all of your feedback - it was so helpful for me in curating items for your box. For this month, I've selected some super soft, versatile items, including plenty of fun, comfy pieces that should keep you warm and stylish in the cooler months. Have fun!

The first thing I added was the Fine by Superfine Opal Mid Rise Jeans. They're beyond comfy and flattering, plus the quality is amazing, so I thought you might want to give them a try! You can easily dress these up with a boot, making them a great piece to add to your current wardrobe. For a laid back look, I would wear either the Vero Moda Rolled Cuffs Fringe Hem Sweater or the Dolly Plaid Button Up Shirt over these and pair with a fun necklace or scarf. To transition these jeans from day to night, pair them with the Jack by BB Dakota Shoulder Cutout Slits Sweater, gold jewelry, and heeled booties or loafers! For a comfy everyday look, wear the Vero Moda High Neck Ribbed Long Sweater over black leggings and accessorize with some silver accent earrings for extra polish. For this month's box, I included the J Brand Maria Jeans which feature a high rise fit and trendy distressing that will add the perfect touch of detail to any outfit. Pair this with the Knot Sisters Floral Top for a pop of print! This has a dark floral pattern that's easy to transition seasons with. Top this off with brown booties to complete the look! The Liv Peasant Blouse is another printed option you can style this way and can be layered with the cozy Open Front Cardigan for added coverage and to compliment the gray tones in the print. For a more casual piece, wear the Button Back Ribbed Top which features a textured rib knit construction and faux button back details that will make a great everyday basic! Style this with the Level 99 Brooklyn Pants for a trendy, street style look. These have a more feminine take on your classic cargo silhouette and features a soft fabric that makes it a great everyday pant that isn't the basic black or blue denim! Let's start with the Cindy Ribbed Midi Dress, it's that classy piece! Wear it with sneaks for a casual style or you can dress it in heels for a dressy look. The perfect dress for a day-to-night look! Layer the outfit with the Toni Drape Jacket. The jacket shows off a drape-like open front with a drawstring detail on the waist. The Elle Surplice Sleeveless Jumpsuit is a great classy piece; it's super elegant and classic. The surplice neckline is very flattering. Finish off this piece with heels and simple jewelry for a nice evening out or even for special occasions. The Just Black Ariel jeans are the perfect trendy piece. It features a distressed detail and frayed hems. Style the jeans with the Ellen Collared Surplice Top with heels for that sophisticated look. This top can be worn with jeans as well for a little more chicer style. It features a surplice front with a choker collared neckline. The Crisscross Front Sweater is a great piece you can wear with the Ariel jeans and complete the look with booties. These tops are lightweight and perfect for this season. Try it with a simple necklace, watch, and flats or closed toed heels. Another trendy work outfit combo could be the Margot Pants, a plain cami, and the Liverpool Suede Jacket- it is perforated so will make the fabric breathable and the front detail screams statement! For a casual Friday workplace attire, pair the Margot pants with the Andrea Ribbed Top for a flowy fit. This outfit would look great with a delicate necklace, flats, and your go-to work bag. For an everyday look, pair the Plaid or Front Knot Top with the Liverpool Skinny Jeans. You can loosen up a few top buttons off the Plaid Top to show off off your neckline. Because it's a print, I recommend going with a simple option for shoes and accessories. For something to wear in between seasons, french-tuck the Stripe Button Up Top with a pair of your favorite skinny jeans. Wear it with booties, earrings, and a purse to pull together a whole outfit. It's time to put away the coats and sweaters and get you closet ready for the warmer weather. I love to fill my wardrobe with the prettiest dresses and rompers during this time of year. They're super easy to throw on when in a rush and can be worn so many different ways. Put on a pair of heels to dress it up for date night or throw on some sandals and a jean jacket for brunch!

My favorite way to style a girly dress is with some white sneakers for a casual, trendy look. The Wrap Dress and BCBGeneration Dress will add a nice pop of color to your wardrobe. If you're heading to the beach reach for the Mystree Ombre Dress as an easy cover up. The Honey Punch Woven Cami is a basic staple you can wear year-round.

Try a monochromatic summer whites look by pairing the white Lace Shorts with sandals or an espadrille. For a fun non-monochromatic look, pair our Just Black Short with a fun leopard print sandal. Add the lightweight Safari Jacket to either of these looks to pull everything together. Layer the Safari Jacket over the Bishop + Young Romper, sandals, and a woven handbag for something that would work great for the heat.

Welcome back to another month of your DL box! This month, I tried to include some more fun and fashion-forward looks as well as some more wardrobe essentials to help you build out your everyday essentials. I'm excited to be able to send you some pieces to help you experiment with your style!

Everyone needs a classic pair of skinny jeans and our Just Black jeans really hit the mark with this high-waisted version. Pair these with our Bella Ruffle Off The Shoulder Tie Sleeve Top and a great pair of statement earrings. You could wear this from day to night! The Sharon top is also a great basic. You can wear these tops interchangeably. If you throw on a heeled bootie or a classic pump, you'll be set for an everyday look.

For a fun fashion-forward item this month, I've included our sparkle jumpsuit. I love this look on its own or layered over a thin black turtleneck. For warmer weather, you can wear this with a white short sleeve under for something comfortable but trendy. This jumpsuit would look so cute with a strappy kitten heel or some classic moto boots.
